Changes for employees who are casual and the end of JobKeeper

Good Afternoon,
We just wanted to keep you updated on some potentially substantial changes to employees’ pay and conditions due to the finalisation of the JobKeeper scheme. Any changes to employees’ pays and conditions will need to revert back to what they were prior to the JobKeeper provisions. From Monday, 29 March 2021, normal pay rules apply. Casual Employment
If you have any casual employees, there have been some changes to the conditions and requirements for casual employment. Here is a link with the changes –
These changes came into effect from Saturday, 27th of March 2021. Part of those changes mean that if you are a Small Business Employer (less than 15 employees), you are required to give a fact sheet to all your casual employees as soon as possible. The fact sheet is attached. (click to download) For all other employers, the statement needs to be given to all casual employees as soon as possible after 27th of September 2021.
